Mount Waverley Police Station

Mount Waverley Police Station is 16-hr Police Station located in a residential area in Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs. The existing 1950s era police station was refurbished and extended to provide the station with a new sequence of entry and public areas. The new station includes a public foyer and counter, interview rooms, staff offices accommodating 18 staff, equipment stores and staff amenities. The existing building has been fully refurbished to transform what was an enclosed office arrangement into a series of open plan offices. A new expanded mess area and staff amenities have been created within the existing building. An entry canopy marks the new entry. The canopy is clad in Corten mesh and topped by the Victoria Police illuminated sign.
